Chaz's journey in real estate is unique, setting him apart from your typical agent. Before transitioning to real estate, Chaz spent eight years in the commercial construction sector. Starting in general labor, he steadily worked his way up the ladder to supervisory roles, and eventually took charge of project management, bidding, and operations within his family's business. He worked directly with local business owners and management staff of larger scale corporations while successfully managing the construction of countless restaurants, retail stores, and shopping center improvements. This diverse background has equipped him with invaluable skills and a deep understanding of client relationships, timeline management, and contract negotiations, instilling confidence in his clients. Armed with a wealth of experience, Chaz brings a fresh perspective and unparalleled insight to the real estate industry, setting him apart as a visionary in the field.
CHAZ x Real Estate
In 2020, Chaz and his beloved wife, Sofie, welcomed his first child into the world, a daughter named Piper. Her birth sparked a fire in his heart to take a leap of faith and start his own business. With a passion for serving others and a love of the mechanics of real estate after purchasing his second home, Chaz jumped all in and quickly found success.
On his second day as a licensed agent, he helped his first client trump 21 offers to secure his first escrow. He didn't look back. He closed over 20 transactions in his first year of real estate alone.
Chaz was named "Rookie of the Year" at his brokerage for 2021 and was in the top 10 producing agents out of over 600 in 2022 at Realty ONE Group Complete. Chaz's expertise in residential real estate is demonstrated by his successful sales of a variety of properties. He has sold luxury multi-million dollar homes, navigated trust sales, and marketed rural properties, among others. He is adept at guiding first-time buyers through the process and helping seasoned buyers make informed decisions for their future.
Through these experiences, he has honed in his systems and processes, making his client experience second to none.
CHAZ x Personal Life & Community
Chaz is married to his high school sweetheart, Sofie, whom he met at YoungLife camp. They are the proud parents of a daughter named Piper and a son named Lance. The Halbert crew loves to spend time adventuring together in the outdoors and giving back to the community. They are deeply rooted in their faith and desire to honor the Lord in their personal and professional lives.
Chaz is an avid cyclist who races cross-country mountain bikes at a national level. He is also the head coach of the Whitney Wildcats Mountain Bike Team, a volunteer-run, fast-growing high school mountain bike team. He is also proud to serve as the President of the Rocklin Bike Coalition, a nonprofit working to bring more family-friendly amenities to the city. In his spare time, Chaz works tirelessly to perfect his Neapolitan pizza technique and dreams of someday visiting Europe to see the legendary Tour de France in person one day.
