Buying a home is one of the most exciting milestones of your life. To prepare yourself for this moment, you need to know what to expect during the process. I create this step-by-step buyer’s guide to help reduce the stress of buying a home and help you enjoy the journey as much as possible.

1. Let's Chat


Get to Know You: We'll start by talking about what you're looking for in a home—neighborhoods, budget, must-haves, and deal-breakers.



Explain the Process: I’ll walk you through the whole buying process so you know what to expect at each step, including any costs involved.

2. Get Your Finances in Order


Pre-Approval: I recommend getting pre-approved for a mortgage. It helps you know your budget and shows sellers you’re serious.


Budgeting: We’ll go over potential extra costs like closing fees, inspections, and moving expenses.

3. Start the Search


Set Up Alerts: I’ll set up alerts for new listings that match your criteria so you’re among the first to know about them.


Tour Homes: We’ll schedule times for you to visit homes. I’ll give you the lowdown on each one and the neighborhoods they’re in.


Evaluate Options: I’ll share my thoughts on the value and condition of each property we check out.


4. Making an Offer


Pricing: I’ll do research to help us figure out a fair offer based on recent sales in the area.


Draft the Offer: I’ll put together the offer for you, including any conditions like financing or inspections, and submit it to the seller.

5. Under Contract


Inspections: We’ll arrange for inspections to make sure everything is in good shape. I’ll help you review the results.

Appraisal: We’ll coordinate the appraisal to make sure the home’s value matches your offer. If there are any issues, we’ll address them.


6. Finalizing the PURCHASE


Review Documents: I’ll help you review all the final paperwork, including the closing disclosure that outlines your final costs.


Lender and Title Coordination: I’ll make sure everything is in order with your lender and the title company.


Final Walkthrough: We’ll do one last check of the property to make sure everything’s as agreed.

7. Closing Time


Attend Closing: I’ll be there with you at the closing meeting where you’ll sign the final documents and make the payment.


Get the Keys: Once everything’s signed, you’ll get the keys and officially become the owner of your new home!
